GAS PRICES

Check out this new link,  This is a forum talking about what we all cand do to help lower gas prices,  add your coments there if you have an comment.

Why doesn't some one do anything about these Gas prices? They are making millions off the public, even to the point of putting the whole country into a recession or even depression if something isn't done about it. This should be a big consideration for these new presidential candidates. Gas Prices, Medical care for everyone, Food for everyone. There is people here in the US starving now, and no medical coverage that have no choice. Why cant they do something about these people hiring people part time and working them write up and over the hours just so they don't have to give them benefits. I am frustrated in so many ways. I am. I'm driving less. Reduce consupmtion and prices will fall.

We are too! Maybe that is one answer to this problem. If people get a little exercise by walking when they can that would help too.
We shop where we work and we go to church on Sunday, that is the only place we go most of the time.

This should be a big concern of the current president. But just like thousands of lives being lost in useless and misleading wars, Katrina, corruption in government, loss of homes, etc. it just doesn`t concern him. He is a dictator without the title. He`s just biding his` time until he can pass this cluster F he has created on to his` successor.

I think the gas prices are apalling.The oil compaanies post such huge profits.The price of gas is 3.70 a gallon where i live in Ravenna.We really need to do something about it.we really need to boycot filling up for at least three days and see how the oil companies react to that

Maybe if everyone e-mailed or wrote to their congressman and pressured them into doing something about the gas prices.Obama is the only one that doesn't want to do something now.He wants to wait for a long term results. In his speeches he talks about things that are already in effect.

I buy gas every two weeks. We go practically no where else. Church on sunday, work and we shop where we work. I am on my husband every time he takes the long way around, just to miss a light or two. I am allways looking out for the gas we spend.
I sent this email to the white house. Maybe someone there will see it and spread the word to the write person.
I agree with sending this to all of our politicians. That was a GREAT Idea!
Something else we could do is boy cot filling up as long as possible, maybe use one car or bike, or walk.
We could send an email to everyone that we know and they could send it around to the next place and all that they know.
I am saying even, just copy my orginal statement if you feel like it and pass it to everyone we know. I will do the same thing.
I have a web site for our family I will put it on there, that will reach alot of people that is for sure. If we all do what we can, that is one step closer to getting some prices lowered.

Feeling Mischievous

This is a bran new DIET, lol,  but you might not like some of the side effects.



The Purina Diet

I have 2 large dogs, so I was buying a large bag of Purina at Wal-Mart and was in line to check out.  The woman behind me asked if I had a dog?  Duh!!?

On impulse, I told her no, I was starting The Purina Diet again.  Although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital the last time.  But I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes everywhere and IVs in both arms.   I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and the way it works is to load your pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat  one or two every time you feel hungry.  The food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again.

I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story, particularly a tall guy who was standing behind her.

Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me? I told her no, I'd been sitting in the street licking my butt and a car hit me.

I thought the guy standing behind her was going to need help as he staggered to the door laughing.

A Spanish teacher  was explaining to her class
that in Spanish, unlike English, nouns are designated as either masculine or feminine.

' House' for instance, is feminine:
'la casa.'

'Pencil,' however, is masculine:
'el lapiz.'

A student asked, 'What gender is 'computer'?'

Instead of giving the answer, the teacher split the class into two groups, male and female, and asked them to decide for themselves whether 'computer'
should be a masculine or a feminine noun.

Each group was asked to give four reasons
for its recommendation.

The men's group decided that 'computer'
should definitely be of the feminine gender < B>
('la computadora'), because:

1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic;

2. The native language they use to communicate
with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else;

3. Even the smallest mistakes  are stored in long term memory  for possible later retrieval; and

4. As soon as you make  a commitment to one,
you find yourself spending  half your paycheck
on accessories for it.

(THIS GETS BETTER!)

The women's group, however, concluded
that computers should be Masculine ('el computador'),
because:

1. In order to do anything  with them,
you have to turn them on;

2. They have a lot of data but still can't think for themselves;

3. They are supposed  to help you solve problems,
but half the time  they ARE the problem; and

4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that if you
had waited a little longer, you could have gotten
a better model.

The women won.

Jennifer's wedding day was fast approaching. <?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O />

Nothing could dampen her excitement --

not even her parents' nasty divorce. Her mother had

found the PERFECT dress to wear and would be the

best dressed mother-of-the-bride ever!  A week later,

Jennifer was horrified to learn that her father's

new young wife had bought the exact same dress as

her mother! Jennifer asked her step mom to exchange

it, but she refused.  "Absolutely not, I look like a

million bucks in this dress, and I'm wearing it,"

she replied. Jennifer told her mother who graciously

said, "Never mind sweetheart. I'll get another

dress.  After all, it's your special day." A few days

later, they went shopping and did find another

gorgeous dress. When they stopped for lunch,

Jennifer asked her mother, "Aren't you going to

return the other dress? You really don't have

another occasion where you could wear it." Her

mother just smiled and replied, "Of course I do,

dear. I'm wearing it to the rehearsal dinner the

night before the wedding."



NOW I ASK YOU - IS THERE A WOMAN OUT THERE,

ANYWHERE, WHO WOULDN'T ENJOY THIS STORY?

Hi,  I am finally back


Hi everyone,

It has been along time since I have been on here on my own.  I have helped Tim set a page that I believe in.   "Yesterday"  I got a brand new computer.  It is an Emachine,  and I totally love it.

I had that hand made computer,  it did fine for me to learn on it and now I can get on with my computer life so to speak, lol.

Tim is working on his part of this site,  be nice to him and check it out. 

I am asking you all to send me current information on your family.  When I lost my computer in Sept/Oct of 2006,  I lost the information again and have not kept up with the new information on my computer. 

I am sick about it.  I would like to tell you that Josh and Trista has had there 3 baby in Nov.  So My, question is has anyone else had any babies that I have'nt keep up on.  Kyia and Kayden were very happy to welcome Parker into there little family.  They are so cute with him.  Josh laughed and said he's not done yet!!  lol  Dolly and Ray are up to 4 grandchildren now.  

Jullie, dolly's youngest daughter is engaged now.  She is getting married June 7 2008.  So I am sure they will be adding to dollys croud when the time is write.   Jamiegirl and Jamieboy need to get to work or Jullie and Jon will beet them at having the first baby.lol

Things are going fine with me,  I will be going to ceadarpoint here in sandusky most of all my off time.  Dolly got us season passes so I will be going there most of the summer till I get tired of it.  It wont be quick,  I have wanted those tickets for along time now. I am very excited about that.

I got a great computer,  2 gig of mem I only had 512,  then 160 hard drive,  I had 80.  They messed up my order, and up graded me to premeim vista something.  I am still not sure what that is yet. I am sopose to get tv show and cabilitiy to burn them off.    So wish me luck.  It has a built in burner and so much stuff,  of my gosh it is totaly cool.
