This is a flower from Thailand.  It is also a protected species.

It is not allowed to be exported.  

This will be the only way we will be able to view this flower.

    Mother nature and her inventiveness never ceases to amaze.  Adaptation is a mysterious thing.  Makes you think flowers might have minds of their own.  "I would like to look like a parrot?"

    Incredible!  I first saw these recently on Jimmy's blog.   I told him it would be cool to see Birds of Paradise beside them...and so...BAM...he did some photo magic and made that happen.  It's so cool.
