Chuck Norris
Chuck Norris is a well-reknown martial artist, not only is he my hero he is alot of peoples hero. He has an eigth degree black belt in Taekwondo, as well as a famous celebrity. He has been in the movie industry for about thirty years and has been practicing martial arts practically his whole life.Chuck Norris was born to couple with different ethnic origins in March of 1940. His father was native american and his mother was white american. Growing up, he had to tackle racial intolerance since he was part Cherokee indian and in that point in time there was racism towards other races besides white. He was called such racial slurs as "Half breed", since people criticized him for being native american, even though he was also part white.  Later on, during the 1960's he went into the Vietnam War, where it was a tragic time for the US. Trained in the martial arts he used his army strategy skills to the fullest and it worked. Nowadays, Chuck Norris is retired at the age of 61, but has accomplished alot. He has just finished his 8 year series of "Walker, Texas Ranger" that aired from 1993-2001. Mr. Norris has also gotten his 8th degree black belt in 1996
