What a long day!  I am so glad to be home!  Traffic coming home was more dense with people leaving to go shopping after work, I suppose.  I was one of them, had to stop by Walmart and pick up a few things for the childrens' boxes.  We give each of my husband's children gift cards and I always like to add lil somethings to go with it.  It was not too painful getting in and out of the parking lot.  I came home and prepped the boxes and then jumped in the shower.  I had worked hard physically at work today moving stuff and had broken out in a repulsive sweat fest more than once, lol.  I know women supposedly "perspire" but I swaney, I plain out "sweated".  So feminine or not, it was reality.  The hot shower felt great.  My DD made dinner tonight of baked chicken with veggies.  It was not a heavy meal and just what was needed.

My sister called earlier today about the kitcen renovation.  I could tell she was stressed, bless her.  We finally came to an agreement the renovation would wait until after Christmas.  I could hear relief in her voice.  Her husband had over scheduled himself and has three jobs to finish up on before Christmas.  I don't want to cause them stress.  I just asked that we get it done before I go back to school.  As long as that happens, I will be happy.  She said that will be no problem.

Ready to go to bed right now, but know I need to stay up.  I sure wish I could have some time off but I'm covering for the boss.  I will get three days next week, so that will help.  Just need to get to the weekend.  One more day, one more day.

    Hi Lynne,
Hang in there ... like you say, "one more day!"  Sounds like you need some down time!
    Best,

Hang in there, that one more day will pass quickly then the weekend.  At least I hope so, LOL.  I also hope that the kitchen will get done during the newly agreed upon time frame.  I have to go to Walmart tomorrow for a few stocking stuffers and I cringe at the thought.  Hopefully I'll get in and out as easily as you did today.
