Today, I woke up to the sound of rain.  The dog did not want to stay out long and she is already settled back in her bed.  The husband is asleep.  My daughter stayed over my parents home last night with the neice.  They are babysitting my other neice's son, Sam. Sam is now going into his fifth month, and is such a corker, lol.  He has  brought absolute joy into the house.  His mom went out last night to celebrate her birthday. 

I got my hair cut yesterday, but am thinking she did not take enough off the top.  My hair is thick and wavy and for the weirdest of reasons, when I grow it out longer than my shoulders (which has been some years), it is really curly. 

Read the comments on yesterdays entry, and have to say last night was more me being fussy than any rude gesture on his part.  I was being ."unreasonable".  There could be several reasons why I let it get to me and I am happy to say I did not let it spoil the rest of our evening.  I relooked at the picture.  No resemblance, but he can make some hilarious faces at me that for whatever the reason, when I saw it - it reminded me of him.  He has more hair too, lol.  He told me if his hair gets too thin or recedes too much, he's just going to shave it off.  No comb overs.  I'm so happy to hear it.  I don't care for comb overs.  I don't think bald on guys looks all that bad in my book.  They can look very handsome inspite of not having hair. 

Today, I'd like to catch up on home work some more.  My goal is to finish Chapter 7.  Each chapter has mini-chapters.  There are usually up to at least ten, depending on the subject matter.  I have several home work review questions I will go through and answer online.  Then, another online quiz which is due before I go back to school on Monday evening.  I am really behind.  I would like to struggle my way through and finish the course.  We'll see.  Focus and prioritizing will be key to my success.  I would also like to go to church today.  Iknow we need to take a trip uptown to go look for a comforter set, since the new bedroom suit will be in on Friday.  

The husband and I had already agreed to keep today low key.  We've spent so much money on the bedroom suite and are trying to save towards the next thing for the house.  What will be the next thing?  I'd like to buy a shed and we're still needing to get the kitchen painted, lol.  It never ends.

  There is something calming and relaxing about the rain that makes you want to stay in and relax. I used to be nervous when Doc would stray off on his own once in awhile, until I got Pickles. Pickles lets me know when someone is around me and keeps me company. As for men in general in stores, they don't usually have any patience to let us shop at our own pace, so if they want to go off on their own...at least you won't have them rushing you(winks).
