SPECIAL ENTRY - GENERATION
The Silent generation, people born before 1946.
- The Baby Boomers, people born between 1946 and 1959.
- Generation X, people born between 1960 and 1979.
- Generation Y, people born between 1980 and 1995 .
Why do we call the last one gene ration Y? I did not know, but a caricaturist explains it eloquently below...Learned something new!

I was actually born in 1960, but have always chosen to think of myself as a baby boomer rather than an X'er. In part, because my sisters were boomers. And in part because everything down here runs behind the rest of the country. ;o) - Barbara

That's perfect! Moreover, I'm thrilled to fall into the Generation X category ... not that it matters, but I had always assumed I was a Baby Boomer. This new information makes me feel so much younger ...
