Feels Kind Of Nice

I left work on time tonight, because I was quite fatigued.  As I walked into the door and then onto the bedroom, I looked over and saw my college books.  I felt a sigh escape and a relaxed sensation took over where an hour before was stress.  I am home, and I don't have anything I have to do tonight.  What a nice feeling.  I am so glad for this break.

The husband is getting cold feet about us getting the house.  He said there are too many unknowns.  We are to find out in June if he is going to be reassigned to a new position.  This might mean a move.  Deep down I know he is right.  I have felt hesitation too.  So, I need to break the news to a few people.  We want to take the next six months and get some things in order and better postured.  We're seriously talking about going ahead and readying this home and selling it.  Then take our time to find a lot and build.  Our debt-to-ratio would be minimum and it would make for a better rate and mortgage payment.  As much as I want this new house, I need to do this smartly.

Well I'm a bit tired....and the DD2 wants me to help her with her FAFSA...

    Hi Lynne,
I'm sure you'll do the right thing regarding the house ... seems like hints of "cold feet" have been working their way into your blog in recent weeks ...
    Best,
    Marty

I think you are very wise to think with your head and not with your heart.  I'm glad you have this break.... relax!!
