Monday Musings

"One day I was so bored, I...."  Care to finish that sentence for me?  I got to thinking about it and I do remember once as a child being so bored in FL that we took small sticks and sat on a road that felt like a hundred degrees and popped tar bubbles, LOL.  We were b o r e d!

Today, I took off from work in order to go see my chiropractor.  As the day progressed from Saturday to Sunday, my right shoulder, neck and arm began to throb, hurt, make me almost cry - get the picture?  It is actually feeling better today.  Now if my sunburn would cooperate, lol.  Lots of aloe and water for me.  Going on Day 2 with no soda!  Proud of me!  When I reach Day 30, then I know I will have arrived.  Funny thing is, I'm missing it but not missing it.

Well time to get ready for the day...........

    Hi Lynne,
One day I was so bored I tried to pretend I was somewhere else in my mind.  In the middle of a particularly boring speech at an event, I simply decided to mentally walk through London ...
    Best,

Hope the chiropractor was able to offer some relief. I've found it's easier if you have soda in the house. If you think your punishing yourself and not having it, you tend to want it more. If it's there and you figure it's a choice to have one or not, it seems to go easier....at least for me it does. (Hugs) Indigo

Good job on the no soda.  I've tried it and failed but have been limiting my amounts and that seems to work for me. I do know when I drink soda I don't drink as much water (which is opposite what it should be!) lol

Hope your sunburn and shoulder feel better!
