Old Telephones
The 300 series bakelite telephone was design by Ericsson of Beeston Nottinghamshire, England. they were made for use in the UK between 1932 and 1964. This new design was adopted in 1937 by the BPO to replace the older 165 and 232 pyramid phones, which did not have an internal bell.
One of the reasons the 332 and other variants of the classic 300 series bakelite telephone is still popular today is because they can be converted to the new system and the old internal bells sound fantastic.
