Video Module Updates, Pictures Fix & More

Hi folks -- just a quick EOW (End Of Week) update:

* Embeddable Video Modules: This week, the AIM Pages team cleared the Google Video, YouTube Video modules and UnCut Video module... well, that's a lot of video that you can embed in your profiles. (Be kind to your visitors and try not to overload your profile with too much video at once. It's just a suggestion.)

You can find all the video modules in the Module Directory's Video Category.

* AOL Pictures Module: If you were having problems with your AOL Pictures module, please check again -- it should be fixed as of today. (Let us know if you're still having trouble).

* Clearing Your TopSpeed Cache: Reminder -- if you're having problems when you're trying to edit your profile when using the AOL software -- especially Javascript errors --  try clearing your TopSpeed cache.

That's all I've got for now -- have a great weekend.

Thanks -- Joe

Hi Charley -- I took a look at your profile -- it locked up my AOL client after first throwing some sort of error that I think was associated with your Meez.com module (I'm not 100% sure it was the cause though); using the Firefox browser, it also locked up, but after a few minutes, it popped up a "nonresponsive script" dialog box, which lets you cancel the action. (Actually, as I was writing this, after a few minutes, Internet Explorer also lets you abort the script.) Hopefully, you should be able to edit your profile after that.

Did you start experiencing the problems after you added new modules, or did something change for you?

Let me know and I will pass a report to the team.

Thanks -- Joe (posted & mailed)

Hey joe - posted this on the comments section of your team aimpage:

    Hey Joe,
Maybe it's just my machine, but I'm experiencing trouble loading my profile (and the editor), and I think it's due to one of the modules - meez....

I'm not able to actually OPEN either the profile/editor without my browser locking up, so I can't provide a fix for it yet, but I thought you guys might want to know.
    Charley
