Internet Explorer 7.0 and Firefox 2.0 Browser Support Is Coming

Hi folks -- I don't have a ton of super-specific new information for you right now. However, I do have some good news for you folks who have downloaded and installed (or are about to download and install) Internet Explorer 7.0 or Firefox version 2.0 (which is in the process of rolling out today).

Currently, if you use IE 7.0 or FF 2.0 to try to edit your AIM Page profile, you'll get the loverly "AIM Pages currently doesn't support your browser" error message:

AIM Pages Unsupported Browser Error Page

According to Joe (DrDzoe), the team is going to open up AIM Pages to both of these browsers soon. (Like, imminently. Definitely this week.)

Once the fix goes in, you may still run into some issues, but you'll get past the blocker page, and there are no major bugs that we know of. (So let us know if you find any.)

I will let you know when the Ops guy make the change.

(Thanks to Stephanie for the IE 7.0 screenshot. I haven't installed IE 7.0 or FF 2.0 yet; I usually wait until the initial crush dies down, unless I have a specific instance I need to check out.)

Thanks -- Joe
