All,
I know that it has been very frustrating the last several weeks in regards to the errors you have been receiving with File Manager and Hometown.  I wanted to let everyone know that the problem seems to have been fixed finally.  You should be able to access both File Manager and Hometown now through the AOL client and you should not receive those nasty 504 errors anymore.
Please give it a try and let me know if you are still experiencing any issues.

Please try accessing Hometown externally either in IE or FireFox.  Let me know if you still are having problems.  (especially those UK users that are experiencing this)

I know that StephanieBamBam has suggested to everyone to reach out to me with questions/concerns with Hometown and that is the correct thing to do.  However, I am not the product manager for Journals, but I am more than willing to pass along your suggestions / concerns to the right people.
As far as file manager is concerned, I am serious about fixing the  problem(s) first and foremost and then we can focus on the other issues.  If you are experiencing and issue with it, please let me know the specifics (what exactly is happening, include screen shots if possible, as well as:  browser, client version, OS, etc.) so I can try to reproduce the problem and fix it.
