Were will you spend eternity? How can you know ? What do you need to do to ensure an eternity with God?

Those are extermely important questions, the most important ones of your life. For this life you have now is but a whisper. If your lucky you may get 70 or 80 years, but that is nothing compared to forever.

Many people understand that God is a God of love, but they forget that God is also a God of judgement.

God gave us His law and said that to be with Him we must keep the law, all of it, until we die.

What is this law? Here it is- read it and ask yourself if you have never, ever, broken even one rule.

1. I am the Lord your God, you shall have no other gods before me.

2. You shall not make for yourself an idol. You shall not bow down and worship them.

3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.

4.Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall work but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God.

5. Honor your father and mother.

6. You shall not murder.

7. You shall not commit adultery.

8. You shall not steal.

9. You shall not bear false witness(lie).

10. You shall not covet (desire to have) anything of your neighbors.

If you've broken one rule then you are condemned. You now fall under the judgement of God.

How can anyone be saved then? All of us have broken this law, I know I've broken more than one, more than once.

There was one man who kept the entire law, never sinned in his entire life- Jesus. Jesus is not just some guy who lived 2000 years ago. Jesus is God in the flesh. God Himself came down to earth in a human body, lived like we do and was tempted, but He didn't sin. He went to the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. God tells us in His word that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is everlasting life. You can't do anything to earn a gift, you just have to accept it. God won't force you to take it, the decision is yours. The entire word of God points to Jesus ( Yeshua in hebrew) coming in the flesh, and those at the time of Jesus knew from reading the prophets that it was time for the Messiah. The jews of the time were expecting the Messianic Kingdom to be set up, but that isn't why Jesus came then. He came to take the sins of the world upon Himself and all of sins effects such as disease. Isaiah 9:6-7 says this, For unto us a child is born (the man), to us a son is given (God) and the government will be on his shoulders. And He will called Wonderful Counselor, Migthy God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

Now it's blindly obvious that this child is God, His kingdom is to be set up in the future because the jewish religious leadership rejected Him as there promised Messiah. That opened the door to the gentiles to be brought into the family of God.

The prophecies of the Messiah are two fold, His first coming to suffer and die, and His second coming in glory and power.

You have to know how to rightly devide the word to understand. Isaiah 52:13-15 and all of 53 is a very powerful prophecy of the coming Messiah.I won't qoute the whole thing but just a few verses and you can read the entire section here.

Isaiah 53:4-6 Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Since Jesus paid for your sins why not take the free gift offered to you so you can spend eternity with God?

If you want that then pray this prayer: God I'm a sinner, I confess my sins to you. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and create a new person in me. I confess that Jesus died for my sins and I accept His gift to me of salvation. God I give you thanks for loving me. In Jesus's name Amen.

If you prayed that prayer I would love to hear from you! If your still not sure you can pray this prayer because God does love you and He will show you the truth.

God I'm not sure if this is true, but if you exist I ask that you reveal yourself to me. If Jesus is the prophecied Messiah I ask that you reveal that to me. I ask this from my heart, Amen.

I've never known this kind of love before

With no expectations, it's not what your looking for

You came to me and knocked upon my door

Not worthy, of that I am sure

You sacfricied your self for me

When I was yet your enemy

My sins were laid on you

A debt of mine that was due

That I couldn't pay, couldent pay

If I should stumble , you pick me up

You hold my hand when life is rough

With your guiding hand  I'll make it it through

For you love me, more than enough, yes more than enough.

Poetry is a portal
To one's soul
A glimpse of one's heart
As the words unfold
It speaks of what one holds dear
Of what one hates
Or what one fears
A palette of emotions
As deep as the sea
Conveys your mind for me to see
Intellectual intercourse
In its purest from
Takes away my pain
Calms my inner storm

Winter
The leaf once green
...turned brown
The flower in blooms
...blooms no more
The brilliant blue sky
...now gray
In the midst of summer
I grow cold
The blackness of winter
All I know

The blush of your cheek
...now pale
The sparkle in your eyes
...sparkle no more
The warmth of your flesh
...turned cold
In the midst of summer
I feel cold
Winter has come
And taken your soul

For my cousin Dee who passed away June 17th 1997

In a perfect world
There'd be no tears
There'd be no killing
There'd be no fears
In a perfect world
There'd be no pain
There'd be no sadness
There'd be no bane
In a perfect world
There'd be no dying
There'd be no grieving
There'd be no lying
In a perfect world
There'd be no leaving
There'd be no greed
There'd be no needing
