Feeling Chillin'

Some thoughts

Here are some quick thoughts from me to you.

This Duke lacrosse thing will not go away.  Now the DNA doesn't match the lacrosse player's DNA, and we have no idea what's happening.  It looks like Duke lacrosse might be innocent, but these kids are just awful kids.  Most of them have been arrested for urinating in public, drinking illegally, etc.  These kids are just awful kids, and it's a good thing this case happened because even though these players are probably innocent, it's still good that Duke is forced to recognize what awful people these kids are, and maybe their act will be cleaned up.

Johnny Damon should just shut up.  Now he is saying he went to the Yankees because they're the greatest fans in the world, greatest ballpark, and because Jeter is the greatest player in the world.  This isn't that big of a deal, but why can't Damon just say he went for the money, or simply shut up?  I hate it when athletes make an excuse instead of simply saying they took the money and ran.  I think most athletes would be more respected if they said they took the money, instead of feeding us bs.

Sorry for being brief today, but those are two things that are on my mind at the moment.  April break is only one day away, that means summer is almost here!

A peaceful summer time type picture....

Public urination, drinking underage is "average male college student behavior."  Sorry statement on our culture.

The fun part about Duke is that Southerners think it's Ivy League.

HaHa Homer . . . I think everone is guilty of some of this in our early, immature days. Don't know about you, but just glad there weren't cops around. lol.
Now, in my ripe old age of late 30's, I do, now take pride in the fact that I've never ever have been arrested for anything. I've bailed a few buddies out, but never on the "other side." Kids will be kids  . . . all you can do is hope they don't get caught, and if do . . . you have a great attorney. (haha & lol)

One thing wasn't clear to me....do you think that the Duke lacrosse team has awful kids? Just playin...

I don't find either of these topics to be the most important. Right now there are contract extensions galore in baseball, two of them from your beloved (and my beloved) BoSox. Also, the Pats just locked Richard Seymour up. Some dumb Duke lacrosse case and whatever Johnny Damon said doesn't really mean much.
