Rita Rudner's Comedy Show Gets Laughs at Harrah's Las Vegas

Rita Rudner's long-running Las Vegas show is now playing at the Harrah's hotel and casino on the Las Vegas strip.

As the Las Vegas Shows Reviews blog recently noted:

Tucked inside a casino whose name is synonymous with glitz and glamour is a comedian who has paid her dues here in Las Vegas and her experience shows. Rita Rudner represents classic Vegas in a way that is both entertaining and unpretentious. An intimate theater is the setting for Ms. Rudner’s one woman show that keeps audiences laughing every night.

A woman comedian in a sea of male headliners is an eye-catching marquee on the Strip, where Rita Rudner makes her home at Harrah’s. The audience is welcomed to share in Rita’s life experiences, from the trials and tribulations of married life to the harrowing but hysterical journey of getting older. The unique delivery of Rita’s humor makes it so the audience isn’t sure what the next zinger will be. Poking fun at herself, her husband, and select audience members, you never know who the next victim will be.

One thing that's apparent as one looks around the theater is that Rita's humor and the way she pokes fun at everyday life rings true with the mass appeal of the wide demographic of people that are in attendance. One can see themselves or friends and family members within her unique brand of homur. You just can't help but laugh with her and even sometimes at her!

Her monologue is also very entertaining, but the final part of her show really showcases her unique abliity as a performer in a question and answer segment. Here she shines with her quick wit and down to earth personality as she interacts with the crowd. She's truly at home on stage and sets the standard for a Las Vegas show free from any pyrotechics or wild animals.
