Feeling Happy
My brother got married on Sunday September 16. I was the best man... and still am and always have been, of course. LOL. Anyway... the wedding and reception were at the Clarion hotel. The wedding was outside and it was a beautiful day for it. It was sunny and bright and warm, but not so hot that you couldn't stay outside for a while. The photographer took a lot of pictures outside that I think will probably turn out very well.

The reception was inside with an open bar and a DJ. The whole day went well. I never thought anyone would be crazy enough to marry my brother Pete, but his bride Christine.... well I'll just say I think they are a good match for each other. LOL!

The bachelor party the week before that is also worth mentioning. We (myself, 2 brothers, my dad, my sisters boyfriend Tug, and a friend of my brother) went to a stripper bar. I don't really like places like that because I get embarrassed and feel sleazy and dirty watching naked women who I don't even know, but this place wasn't so bad. The girls don't actually take everything off like they do in Philly, so they are all basically wearing bikinis. After each one danced that girl would come over to us and talk a bit and get to know us. They didn't try to hustle us for money... the ATM machine did that for them. LOL. Please don't ask Tug about the ATM machine!!! You can only get "play" money out of it in $100 increments to use at the club. Tug told every girl that came to us how it was making them lose money because he couldn't get just $60 to spend there.  I'm sure he doesn't even remember the lap dance he got because he was too busy complaining to the girl about it while she was all over him. LOL. The funny thing is I think he managed to spend $100 anyway because he did bring some cash.

Well that was a nice way to end my Summer.

Wow. Looks like I haven't updated in a long time again. I'm getting lazy.

The Summer is turning out OK so far. I went to the annual employee beach picnic in Wildwood, NJ last month with my brother, sister, and nephew. It was a little rainy in the early morning, but by the time we got there around 2:00 PM the sun was shining bright. That turned out to be a good thing because the early rain kept some people away and it wasn't so crowded until a few hours later. It was a good thing we ate when we arrived (free food, so of course that's the first place we went!) because the food area got so packed with people after that once dinner time came around and the park got more crowded. We tried to get on as many rides as we could including several roller coasters. I got totally soaked on the log flume. It was a 2 person car and I was sitting in front with my older brother sitting behind me. When we were going down the drop to the water, he leaned forward and pushed me all the way to the front of the car so my face was all the way to the front. With all of our weight up front, we hit the water hard and so much water came up at me that I felt like I went under water. My hair was completely wet as well as my shirt and even my pants. I won't forget that. I'll have to get my revenge on him another time.

I went to see the Williamstown fireworks for the 4th of July with a girl who lives across the street from my parents. I took her and her daughter. We thought it was going to be canceled because it was getting cloudy and was supposed to rain. We went anyway hoping the rain would stay away. We sat on some blankets and I brought some drinks, potato chips, and cheese curls, so we sort of had a little picnic. The fireworks did happen, but it started to rain with some lightning right at the end. It was pretty good.

I'll try to update you on more Summer activities later.

My brother is getting married in September and I'm the best man (but you already knew that didn't you. LOL). We got fitted for our tuxedos a few weeks ago. Black tux with gray pattern vest and bow tie. We're planning a simple bachelor party probably for the beginning of September.

Feeling Frustrated
I just turned 4.... 4..... I can't say it! It has a 4 and a 0 in it. I can't believe I'm past my 30s now. There was a little party for me at work. I went to dinner, and my family had a small party for me also. I didn't do anything too exciting, but I had fun. I'm a simple guy sometimes.

I haven't posted here in a long time because some people were telling me I'm crazy for posting my thoughts and things about my life on the web for everyone to see. I don't understand it. There are millions of people doing it everyday on myspace.com and other similar sites and that seems to be OK, but because I have my own little site where it's not as easy for anyone at all to bump into my info simply by clicking on some friends, I'm strange. I'm an outcast! LOL. OK... so I finally decided to try to fit in. I created a page on myspace. You can view it here:  http://www.myspace.com/al_is_great

So... now that I'm on myspace and doing it the "right" way, I figure I can go back to posting on my own site again and when someone tells me I shouldn't be doing this here, I'll point them to my page on myspace. Everybody happy now?

Feeling Chillin'
I went on vacation to Florida November 1st to the 10th. I stayed at my parents winter home just outside of Orlando. Their house is 5 minutes from Disney World. I only spent 1 day at Disney. I was in the Magic Kingdom the whole day. The rest of my vacation was mostly spent playing tennis, shooting pool, eating out, and swimming in the pool. It's always good to get away from work and home just to relax and not have to worry about stuff.

Feeling Silly
I was a clown in the Columbus Day parade in my town on October 9th. It was a small parade... very small.... we WERE the parade. It was just us clowns. Nobody else showed up. We had fun anyway. The clown gang consisted of myself, my sister Re, both of my brothers and their wife and girlfriend, one niece, one nephew, a friend of my nephew, and both of my parents. My dad drove the jeep and we walked down the street giving out candy. I think we won the prize for best group in the parade. We sort of won by default. Afterwards we were invited to have free hotdogs, chips, cookies and sodas... which of course we ate lots of! My niece Kristen and I then decided to spend some time hanging out along the road and waving at cars driving by. That was fun. People wave back and honk their horns.

OK... so it's only a home made movie. I spent some time with my niece and nephew over the Summer and we had fun videotaping  ourselves. Then my sister put parts of it together and uploaded it. Here's the link:

Re (my sister) is the one belly dancing up close to the camera and later posing and fixing her hair.
Tug is Re's boyfriend with the bandana and playing the guitar.
My niece Kristen and my nephew Bobby are the other 2 people.

Feeling Chillin'
I finally got a sofa and chair in my living room. The set is a gray-brown color with black, brown, and gray patterned pillows. It was my brothers set that he bought maybe 2 or 3 years ago, so it's in real good shape. He didn't need it anymore and asked me if I wanted them. Now I need a coffee table and maybe an end table and a lamp. The sofa and chair would actually be useful if I had a TV! Now I have to get one. I'm leaning towards buying a 42" flat screen TV. We'll see.
