Young Liberals Are Lazy - THANK GOD!
You remember the throngs of young internet supporters of Howard Dean, don't you? Sure you do... These are the 18 - 34 year old lazyasses who shouted their support from the highest hilltops in America. They gathered in Iowa from all over the country to witness their savior's victory on super Tuesday. Only one problem: they didn't show up to vote! Must've slipped their mind. Let's face it, they have lives, too. Some were busy filling their bongs. Others just forgot which day to vote. No big deal, dude. Chill.
These are the same dizzy muttonheads that John Kerry is planning on to help him win the Presidency on November 2nd??? I certainly hope not. First of all, Kerry wasn't their guy. Now, if they don't show up for a state primary to vote for the Deaniac himself, why in the world would they bother to take precious time from their self-important lives to do it for John Kerry? The answer is: they won't.
For all the millions that George Soros spent in this election cycle (thank you George, the US economy heartily appreciates your contribution!) what good has it done?
When Madison Avenue marketing teams can't seem to keep their finger on the trends of young people, how is a washed up Greek going to do it?
Even the late October drumbeat by the DNC that "Bush will bring back the draft" doesn't resonate. These are kids who were born years after the draft ended. It's only words to them - nothing else.
Conversely, people of all ages with a conservative leaning have a far higher rate of "follow through". If they're supporting Bush now - they will most likely show up on Election Day. They're grounded in firm principles. These are also the people who don't have time to spend their days in the internet chatrooms, or playing X-box games until their heads cave in. Why? They're busy making the country run!
The latest CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll which was just released at Noon eastern time today shows Bush pulling away with an 8 point lead among "likely voters".
Although Americans think John Kerry did the best job in the debates, that has not translated into an increase in his popularity, which in turn means that he appears to have lost a little ground to Bush. Among registered voters, a 48%-48% tie is now a 49%-46% edge for Bush -- not much of a difference and, with the sampling error, not a significant change. The Gallup likely voter model, which identified those respondents who are most likely to cast a ballot, is magnifying those shifts, with a 49%-48% advantage for Kerry turning into a 52%-44% lead for Bush. What's going on?
For one thing, the charge that Kerry is too liberal, which Bush emphasized mostly in the third and last debate on Wednesday night, seems to be sticking. Nearly half say Kerry's political views are too liberal. (Four in ten say Bush is too conservative.) But didn't Kerry win the debate? Yes, as with the first two debates, the public thinks Kerry did the better job on Wednesday night. But as Al Gore learned in 2000, winning a debate on points does not necessarily translate into votes or make a candidate more popular. As in 2000, Bush's favorable ratings -- Americans view of him as a person -- went up after a debate that he lost. Kerry's favorable rating has remained flat. Republicans seem more enthusiastic about the election, and thus more likely to vote, as reflected in the Gallup likely voter model.
Bush may have energized his base in the final debate at the expense of not appealing to a wider audience -- but he managed to do so in a way that made him more popular than Kerry.

I need to reply to the last comment. What the hell are you talking about. Kerry is much more qualified to be our president. Bush is destroying us. Watch him. He slithers around trying to b/s everyone into thinking he is doing the right thing. Guess what, we have to pay the money back. Hello? He is draining our government. Not to mention, he will ignore the debt problem so it becomes a bigger problem for the next president. He don't care about us Americans. He cares about himself. If you vote for Bush, you will also be voting on two or three times the taxes than if Kerry gets in office. You choose. Either way, it needs to be paid back.

I REMEMBER A TIME IN THIS GREAT NATION WHEN THERE WERE GOOD REPUBLICANS AND DEMOCRATS. I REMEMBER IKE WHO LED THIS NATION IN WAR AND IN PEACE. I REMEMBER KENNEDY WHO DIED BEFORE HIS TIME WAS UP. I DONT KNOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO AMERICA BUT I DO KNOW THAT ITS BAD. NOW... A DEMACRAT IS LABLED A LIBERAL AND UN AMERICAN SOME REPUBLICANS ARE LABLED RIGHT WING EXTREAMESTS. GOOD IS LABLED BAD AND BAD IS CONSIDERED GOOD. I KNOW THAT WE IN AMERICA HAVE BEEN DECIEVED AND ILL LET THE CHIPS FALL WHERE THEY FALL A REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT HAS DECIEVED A LOT OF GOOD INTENTIONED PEOPLE AND IT COULD HAVE JUST AS EASILLY BEEN A DEMOCRAT BUT IT WASNT. IN OHIO WE HAVE A SEC. OF STATE WHO HAS VOWED TO BREAK THE LAW AND REBUKE A FEDERAL JUDGE. WHEN I WAS GROWING UP IF A PERSON BROKE THE LAW THEY WERE PUT IN JAIL. NO LONGER. NOW WRONG IS RIGHT AND RIGHT IS WRONG I PRAY EVERY NIGHT THAT GOD WILL ONCE AGAIN BLESS AMERICA. I ALSO PRAY FOR JOHN KERRY BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH HE ISINT PERFECT I KNOW THAT HES HONEST . WILL HE DO EVERYTHING THAT HE PROMISES? NO BUT WE HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE AND HONESTY SEEMS LIKE A GOOD PLACE RIGHT NOW.

The Liberals may be lazy but anyone who votes for Kerry the two face is as bad as he is. I have watched this from the start and he does'nt know the truth from a lie. He has spinned so much he can't fingure out his head from his butt , and I mean I have watched every thing he has done and said on TV , and watching him turn around and out and out just lie about what he has said to the public and make out like he never said anything , anyway the man is not to be trusted, if he gets elected where in a lot of trouble . So people you better be aware of what and whom you vote for.

I'm one of those older folks who have follow through. But Bush isn't my guy. And I am no liberal. We can do better than Bush.
We'll see who wins.
But I doubt you'll leave this comment up with a link to the real scoop, not the rhetoric laden crap you are spreading......
