Hi!! I'm glad you're doing OK- I do think about you and am glad things are better. I didn'tfeel the earthquake down here in south Florida, but my first thought was either part of an ongoing judgement (along with all the floods, tornadoes, fires etc') or the Angels warming up their trumpets! I am excited to be living in these days! God Bless you Angel Rose and look forward to hearing from you soon! Be Well! Carolyn

I heard about the earthquake but did not feel it where I am in NM. I was watching a program on TV last night about the record breaking weather events of late. New York City having tornados and other places that have never ever been hit.
Yes, we are living in the last days and it's rapidly getting worse and harder to live in this world, if you have a heart for the Lord and even if you don't. The crime, the curelty of others, the disease and poverty and hunger is astounds me. Living in the United States and people going hungry while we as a nation, provide for other countries. The people running for President and their ungodly views on values and morality.
I feel almost completely convinced that there is no longer any hope in this life time to have a happy life. It is my faith that keeps me on the right track and longing for the Lord to come and rescue me but by all appearances, evidence of years and years of trigedy and pain, that keeps me from believing there will be any vicotry in this world, beofre the Lord comes.
I see people all around me, Christian and non Christion who are being deceived and persecuted and broken. I see the power of the enemy to destroy lives all around me and yet I know with all my heart that greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. I stand back and wait upon the Lord but the waiting is causing my heart to grow so weary and broken. Still, I know God is alive, he is victorious and more powerful than anything we have ever known. So, I ponder the question, what is it that keeps God from stepping forward and showing his Salvation and power in this world?? -
I'm in California so didn't feel this one; its getting closer and closer to the Lord coming back, the signs are all around us; like birth pains as the Bible says; will it happen in our lifetime? that I don't know; but I'll just continue to trust he knows when the best time is

I heard about the quake. I guess living here in the Pacific Northwest, my only thought was "I hope no one was injured or killed." You see we have earthquakes here frequently. We are kind of like southern California when it comes to earthquakes. Seattle is built on several fault lines...a really big quake could destroy the whole city, I suspose. The Bible does speak of such events in the last days, but I also know that in some areas, like ours...they are going to happen because of the way the earth is under our cities. Just like volcanos. Mt St Helen's is still steaming and could blow again. The Cascade Range goes down from the Canadian border into northern California. At one time all big peaks have erupted. They say that Mt Rainier (just 60 miles from me) could go anytime. I agree, I believe the Lord will come soon...but then Paul thought the same way. And here we are 2,000 years later. So what is "soon?" It could be today or 1000 years from now. "At an hour when no man knoweth." Linda in Washington state http://journals.aol.com/lsfp1
