Scavanger Hunt Journal

Well Krissy  and friends,to me this is something new. The past couple of days we have had winter for the first time this year. Which is so unusual. I have some pictures of the ice on the trees,see how the sun makes them glisten? Got some snow pics, you will see 12 inches there on the ground. Took a drive today went by the lake too.Hope you enjoy them as much as we did taking them. Such a beautiful world we live in.

Oh my this one was fun. My daughter put dimonds and french pedicure on her toes for her senior prom.Now you know I had to take pictures of them,lol. Hope you can see them well :)

I know I have posted this picture before . But it is my most sentimental and special picture for sure. This picture was taken the evening of our wedding June 3rd of 2006. I took it with my digital camera. I usually don't take moon shots. But this night we were out on the proch swing and the moon looked so pretty I went down the driveway  to take a picture of it. Now let me tell you looking at the moon with my own two eyes  it looked round and like a normal moon. But  when I went to look at the picture in my veiwscreen it was a heart,;it took my breath away. I was in awe and ran up the driveway to show my sweety, he was in awe too. If you look closely you can see the tops of some trees, this was taken in tennesse .See, to us this was like God smiling down on us and our newly committed vows, our love. I don't think I will ever take another picture that has more meaning than this one to me. Every time I look at it I get goose bumps and smile. I have it as a screen saver on my pc too.

 

I don't think I need to tell you why this picture is special :)

This is my favorite sunset picture. Taken on silver Lake up north in Michigan. The dunes are across the lake there.Can you also see the seagul up at the top of the pic?

May this picture I took of the moon (coming out shaped as a heart);on my honeymoon touch your hearts as it did mine. Reminding you how much God loves you and is eternal and also to signify the love you have for one another.

 

My double rainbow shot. Taken a few yrs back. Rainbows are a rminder of Gods promises to us. May this bless you. And remember the saying below.

This is a hard one I've so many favorites. But I guess I'll choose this one. This is called Arch Rock. We took this shot on Macinaw Island in Michigan .Awesome isn't it.

Hey I just got a letter from photos.com on this picture. I entered it in the nature photo contest for  $10,000. I won the first round so Im still in. This picture will be published in their book and sold to the public, cool eh? Just to have it in a book for thousands to see is prize enough for me.
