Your Mutt Could Win This Dog Show
Whether you have a purebred pup or a canine of unknown origin, it's time to break out the camera and send an entry to Dog Show USA! Cuteness and personality count more than pedigree, so every dog in America has a chance to win this one. Last year's Best in Show, Tillie, is a dachshund/cocker spaniel mix:

There are prizes for Cutest Dog, Best Dog-Owner Look-Alike and Best Dog Trick, in addition to winners in the traditional dog show groups (Herding Group, Non-Sporting Group, etc.), plus Mixed Breed and Best in Show. Prizes include a year's supply of Purina Pro Plan dog food, and Best in Show gets a trip to next year's National Dog Show! (If you've been reading the Awwwww Factor, you know that show was a blast this year, so I'd recommend it!)
The deadline for entries to be received (or sent online) is January 3, so check all the rules and get those photos or videos in: dogshowusa.com. While you're at the site, try the What Breed Are You? game -- I turned out to be a golden retriever ("laid-back and loyal," among other things).
