A a nonexpert on horses I can tell this is a beautiful animal. What a great loss. It would be a great loss even if this horse was not famous.

Horses are the most glorious animals in the animal kingdom...I have missed a part of my life I wanted so badly to own one...So I enjoy them whenever I can. We never miss the triple crown races and schedule our days so we can watch them.  I have been to Churchill Downs on an off season tour and my heart was so full that tears came to my eyes so often the group thought something was wrong with me...Yes I cried when I saw this beautiful animal go down...I am so sorry to see that he lost his fight of recovery..But I really think God has a very special pasture in heaven for these wonderful animals...My other love in the animal kingdon is dogs...So I am hoping when my day comes I will be able to go to that beautiful pasture with my dogs and just feel the peace....
