Picture from Hometown

Ken Jennings tells how 'Jeopardy' turned him into a liar -- apparently he fibbed to host Alex Trebek on many occasions during his 75 appearances on the show.

What the heck... he won. He told of what the typical TV "Hype" process makes you do, and so he did it well....they might hav geared some of the questions towards things he was knowledgeable about because their ratings were slipping...not his fault. He evidently had a high TV charisma or else he would have never gotten as far as he did...they would hav given him questions he could not have answered or made his remote not work right....there's so many things a producer can and WILL do to boost ratings.....TV lives & dies by them. If you don't like the clip...move on...it's not the end of the world. The "fibs" Ken told are nothing compared to what they do in the media to bolster ratings, sensationalize headlines and create drama. I know becuase I've ben in the media for years. Sheesh..yuo don't like the clip... don't watch it. Good night.

How many of you haven't tweaked the details of a story to make it more interesting? if you haven't that's probably why people think your boring.
Ken Jennings lied. And we are all better off for it. Think of the snore-fest Jeopardy enthusiasts would've experienced if he hadn't made up the story about a good luck charm, or whatever example you wanna give.
