Biggest. Pumpkin. Ever.
At the World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in California, this pumpkin took home the top prize of $6,000 -- it weighed in at 1,223 pounds. We hope the guy who grew it likes pie, because he's going to be eating a lot of it.

Hey folks,
Even little old Iowa had a bigger pumpkin. It weighed 1275.5 pounds last weekend (Oct. 7) at the 18th anual Anamosa (IA) pumpkin fest. I witnessed the weigh-in. Not a world record, but a state record here and bigger than the one in your photo.
