Nelly Furtado Is Obsessed With Her Hair
During her 'Saturday Night Live' performance of 'Promiscuous,' Nelly Furtado touched her hair 36 times. We're not sure what's more shocking -- the number of times she touches her hair or the fact that someone has enough time on their hands to actually count the number of times she touches her hair.
Nelly's latest video, for 'Maneater,' is below -- there's definitely some hair-touching, but nothing out of the ordinary. Perhaps the director left 35 hair touches on the cutting room floor.

She use to sing songs about wanting to be a bird! She use to dress completely covered and NON-sexy. It's clear to me she's trying to project a new image. If she's gonna sing a sexy song...then shes's gotta TRY to be it. Imagine if Justin was singing "Sexy Back" as a 400 LB 4'9 guy...the image and song would not work! Song and image must match. Go to a club or bar and watch how many time the women who are TRYING to be sexy touch their hair when they dance!! It's like their hands are glued in their hair. You all know that! She's not exempt. Obviously she doesn't have a choreographer for that song!Think about it....at a club you can find 40-50 year old men and women all dry-humping each other while dancing to booty-songs...JUST doing what they think is viewed as sexy tothe other club goers. just thank goodness she wasn't doing that huh? LOL!

If you really want to see a super star who can't ignore her locks, check out Mariah Carey when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live this summer. She never stops fooling around with her hair extensions the entire time she's chatting with Jimmy.
Really, check it out! She was running late for the show and, no kidding, she must have run out of time, because her hair looked BAD. She knew it and she spent the entire time on camera obsessing over it and could not STOP touching it.
What really surprised me was to see such a big celebrity having such a bad hair day, even with extensions! -
She has hair? I was too busy lookin' at other things!!!

maybe she just got extensions and needs to make sure they are still on her head. most stars wear them now anyhow and it woudl suck for them to come loose during a show. or maybe its a wig like they all wear too.....i had a stripper friend who wore one and it fell off when she was on stage. that'd suck.
