The Evolution of Beauty

Picture from Hometown

This Dove ad shows how a regular woman is transformed into a larger-than-life beauty. It's amazing to see all the work that's done to her -- especially when they stretch her neck and enlarge her eyes. Kudos to Dove for trying to promote real women and real beauty!

Astounding!  An important piece of advertising.  Kudos to Dove for the 'real truth'.  Hope you win a Golden Lion for this, it is well deserved!

I love this, and hate it at the same time. Love it cause it is so true, starting out she was just any other woman that youd see at the store... but by the end she looked totally different. Hated it cause the final picture is what litlle girls try so hard to be and it isn't even real!  I think more videos should be made just like this...

    IT'S ABOUT TIME!
How startling to see how it's really done. How duped we have all been to buy the idea that that level of perfection is attainable. I hope it starts a frank dialog about the absurd ends that we are willing to go to just to look a certain way. Thank you Dove for your campaign!
