Shirt Makes Air Guitar Real

Australian scientists have engineered a shirt that turns the invisible instrument, a favorite of tipsy rockers, into something that actually creates music. This is totally going on our Christmas wish list!

this is so fake. it looks like a home made video

I agree this is totally lame, but hey, they never claimed this was going to make you a rock star! It's supposed to be for fun, folks. For you unbelievers, here's the link (http://www.csiro.au/csiro/con
tent/file/pfka,,.html) to the Australian company which inevented this novelty. Apparently, they have other versions -- a tambourine and a guiro. Give 'em another 6 months and they'll have an entire band covered. Right, just what we need -- 4 spastic dudes gyrating to their version of AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long". LOL! -
I don't think this is fake at all. I played around with a plastic "guitar" with flashing lights that did more or less the same thing at KB Toys. Surprisingly enough, it was a lot of fun and my wife had to finally drag me away! All it took was good timing (which the guy in this video doesn't have, unfortunately) and a minimal sense of chord structure to make it sound like an actual song. The shirt probably has a couple of triggers inside the sleeves at the elbow. Hopefully, it has a few more musical variations than are demonstrated here or otherwise it would, indeed, become old very quickly.
