gORGEOUS DAY...BUSY IN THE STORE..

ALTHOUGH, I WENT TO SLEEP LAST NIGHT FEELING DOWN, THE BEAUTIFUL WEATHER PICKED ME UP.....these last few days,...well starting with last TUESDAY, and the week to follow....are the most gorgeous days of the year...when the pastel Spring flowers open....Down town HOHOKUS has flowering trees, maybe some kind of fruitless apple....they almost resemble a giant Dandelion when it turns white.......and there are two blocks of this white fluffy flowering trees...when the wind blows, it seems to be snowing petals....there there are the light pink flowering trees, the yellow forsythia....followed by the dog woods and magnolias,,,,and mothers day find the lilacs...purple and white ,not only blooming, but filling the air with perfume....and now on the ground, the daffodils, tulips, and other early spring beauties are opening up........its hard not to smile when you look at Mother Natures canvas..

One of my friends was very down, so I wrote a little poem thing for her....and I thought I would share it with all of you:

Sometimes its hard to smile

stress

pain

loneliness

But try to smile anyway

fake it

make it part of your therapy for yourself

practice

using facial muscles

become an actor

Use your watch

time yourself

smile for a minute

consciously

smile

look into the mirror

see your eyes twinkle

Time yourself

every hour

for 60 seconds

Eventually

it just might become

automatic

unconscious

and your brain

will not feel the pain

endorphins

'will flow

and you will know

happiness

is just around the corner

THE STORE TODAY WAS VERY BUSY.....AND A DEAR FRIEND, WHO IS NOW 53, came in...with another friend......She told other customers how she has been a customer and friend since she was 21....and how I let her pay off her first purchases, a bedroom set for 1500.......and has remained a loyal customer...for 32 years... She is the one who, daringly told JOHN, when was a mere teen, ....when he handed her a tape measure...to measure a piece of furniture...."this is what I use when I pick a husband" He told me that later on that day, and I have been laughing almost three decades later....and today, we rehashed that statement,,,and laughed again....

The news is so very predictable..THE POPE says he is ashamed how the priest sex scandal was handled..NO KIDDING!!!! I think we should have heard him say this a long time ago....anything he will say is so very predictable.... war is bad...and should be stopped,...but really what do we expect him to say...I am not going to be harsh on him either...He has a lot of responsibility on his hands, and I do believe the takes it very seriously....maybe too seriously. He should open his eyes and realize that population explosions causes horrors...diseases, starvation,crime...homelessness.....and that contraception for the poor.....would eliminate much of it.......and....would stop a certain amount of aids from spreading. Its time to drop some of the churches interpretation....where exactly in the BIBLE does it say not to wear a rubber or take a contraceptive pill. Can you quote JESUS saying anything about that? NO......Jesus would certainly approve of any method of helping alleviate suffering of any type,

So the big news is the POPE is here,......and a GIANT mythological turtle was seen in a lake in VIET NAM....well, maybe if there was a photo, it might perk my interest, but those words means nothing at all to me...They call that news...OY...they are really getting desperate....There w another Britany article..she was in another accident....another "who the hell cares"''''really, doesnt anyone care what she does, or Paris Hilton, or Lindsy Lohan, or MR Scientology.......or any of those Hollywood people...who have more money than they know what to do with, and have more mental issues than we do.....

The 2 ladies above are murderers...at 75 years old, they cooked up a scheme to find homeless men, clean them up, get them an apartment, and then take out insurance policies for accident death..for millions....and then have them killed in what looked like a hit and run....well, they got caught...hahahaha.. But they killed two poor guys....well, they got 25 years to life.....and I don't think.....they will last even the firs 25 years....and the worst part of this story..they killed two men....and they didn't even NEED the money....THIS <SPAN id=sp-3 title=" WAS, WADS, WAGS, WARS, WASH, WASP, WAYS" style="BACKGROUND: url(undefinedimages/bg_spellingErr.gif) yellow repeat-x left bottom; PADDING-BOTTOM: 2px; COLOR: #000" _backupTitle="null"> top news today too.
