COnfessions of a MAD Antique Dealer

This is now the 4th SUNDAY, that HOHOKUS HAS been closed and I have returned to be a salesman in MAHWAH.  Not that numbers of people have picked up yet, but today's sales was the highest in the month..  Maybe just luck.....4 people liked what we had, and they like the prices as well..... Hopefully we can keep increasing sales. Bu co incidence.....a pair of lamps that we just brought up yesterday sold first thing. We have to bring new and exciting merch into the store that we can sell at good prices...I think this month, is the first in a very long time that we made the rent......I would like to get it to the point that we can again make a profit.......

I wish I could tell you what wonderful and interesting people came into the store today. I cant>>>>MR STINKY FOOT (those of you who been reading the blog for a long time,know who he is.....if you want to find out..start reading the blog from two years ago....and get into the drams.. Well, sticky foot was here with one of his "women" you know the type, the one that as a meter running on their butt and love is sold by the hour. She spent most of the time in my store talking on her BLUE TOOTH, and she was loud, offensive and spoke in CHINESE....and he was loud and equally offensive speaking in loud BRONXese....although, he really behaved better today than usual.  They left after a while, but stayed parked in my driveway......if a camera was on the room, I have a feeling one would have been watching ELDERPORN (excuse me while I puke!

There were no house calls, no laughs, no good conversations..it was a boring business day.....one lady bargained like hell on a table.....so to call her bluff...I said, ok...I will accept your offer if you buy it RIGHT NOW!!!! today, SUNDAY......I need the room, so ifyou really want it....You can have it at your price... Then, just  as I figured.....well, I have to see if it matches, and if the size is right....)blah blah blah) OK,  I am open till 6pm......she is the same lady, that wanted to buy 2 dinner plates, out of a complete set of china from 1870.....hmmm, a very serious buyer....Well you have guess, she didn't come back by 6.

Buddy is a very finicky eater. Today I gave him chicken.....cooked yesterday and he hasnt eaten anything at all.....and like a typical JEWISH mother,,I worry whats wrong...he is more like a cat when it comes to eating than a dog.

I look back upon my blogs and I havent been very funny lately. Is it because I just haven met the right people, heard the funniest stories, seen the silliest things, or havent read news worthy of poking fun at....or is it ME.....Is my interpretations of incidents and people and things changed due to a mood swing...? I really do not know..I am tired of poking fun at BUSH and the rest of the 4th REICH, its not funny anymore that people cant pay their bills, and are loosing their homes and businesses..Its not funny that people cannot afford food and medicine. Its not funny, that we have such a limited bunch of people running for office, and their behavior is that of 7th graders. Its not funny, that our soldiers aren't getting the respect and care they deserve, after their sacrifice of fighting for America, and when in reality,AMERICA aka the BUSH ADMINISTRATION has no respect for our Veterans, nor are they giving them the proper care they so badly need and deserve.....and how sad it is to know, they are fighting for the United States of HAlleburton, the United States of EXXON MOBIL, the United States of DUPONT and all the other United States of CARLISLE....their  subsidiaries and affiliates...

How many of you know, that our badly injured soldiers...OUR CHILDREN, who were badly injured,who lost limbs, sight and badly burned, are not allowed back into the USA...but are in EUROPE in Hospitals....or living there. Bush doesnt want our people to see how badly our kids have been injured. Keeping all this in mind, its ahrd to feel and be funny....unless, I can somehow, use reality to poke fun at BUSH, or other officiaI

I havent written any more poetry lately.....I have ideas, but they seem to be too similar to stuff I ahve already written. I want to ad fresh thoughts.....I do have an idea brewing.....about education, the quality of the teacher.....and the teacher much teach the importance first of the subject, and how to enjoy learning...
