AOL is goofy tonight, as it took several tries to get the pic to show up.

I've always been fascinated by elephants; their size, their strength, the huge piles of dung they'd produce right in front of my class on school trips :)

Lately tho' I'm struck by a sadness about them, which I think is nothing more than my looking at their wrinkled skin and getting sad about my own middle age lol

What a beautiful serenity this picture has of mother and child.

I'm with Mary.  While we all know that elephants can be very dangerous, there is just something about them.  Their presence while large in the physical world is transcended into the calm aura about them.  Does that make sense?

Okay, I get it, wordless wednesday.  Silly me.  Still, I had to comment.  Love the photo JJ.

The wordlessness in & of itself is peaceful, but the elephants, bliss. At least for me. ~Mary
