Well, perhaps it is a bit much to use those lines for this, but I'm the mom, so who cares. This week Gina finally got out of her braces. Her teeth are straight, white, and healthy! She's been in them less than a year, so this is particularly good. Poor Stuart has to keep his for a bit longer, mostly because his mouth is a bigger mess.
As you can tell, G is reveling in her metal-free existence. Before she left the ortho, she was gifted with balloons, and a bag full of sticky things to eat including sugar-free gum, and Cracker Jacks. I've warned her against being gloaty about the success of her braces. Poor Stuart is probably going to end up in them for another year.
So far, she's been pretty nice about the whole thing, as you can see here:
You can tell they love each other!
If only I could convince them to be this way all of the time!

I love those pics! They really make me smile (but with mouth closed, because my teeth don't look that great). Congrats!
