The Other Invisible!

Here I am, back at work after a lovely holiday. I'm doing my best to be excited and think happy thoughts. It is a new beginning, afterall.

I actually like working, but after a long break, I'm loathe to get back on schedule. I guess it's a case of the lazies in force, but I would be willing to bet that most of us feel this way. I wanted to get back to work, but now that I'm here, I'd rather be at home with the kids (they're home till tomorrow).

So far I've led two groups of students through my maze of first day handouts, answered questions, and tried my darndest to scare the unmotivated into leaving my classroom asap and avoid the inevitable disaster that they will face if they stay unmotivated. We'll see how my well laid weeding plan works.

Now I get to go to lunch. It's nice to have morning classes. This may turn out to be a good quarter. Ask me in three weeks when the whining begins.
