Hunter and Hunted: The Dark Rambler - Introduction

     (Thanx to Nikki for offering and altering the graphic, and for encouraging us to begin this separate journal.

     Thanx to Kathy for providing the character a description.

     Thanx to Vicki for suggesting that the character needed a life.

     Thanx to Celeste, Deb and Marti for being there.

     Thanx to the Write Words Writers Club for giving this story its first real home.

     And thanx to those of you who have expressed your enjoyment of the story.)

     The chapters of this story came, and are still coming, literally from nowhere. For long periods, we receive no contact, and then one day or night, a flood of new information appears and the outlines of the story become clearer. There is at present no ending to the story - we set down new details here as we learn them. For all we know there may be no end - that's a disturbing thought. Withal, since the story continues to evolve, we wanted to offer it a home of its own.

     The chapters necessarily read from bottom to top, so please adapt accordingly.

 

     This story is dedicated to our parents, without whom we might also inhabit an alternate universe.

    Ok, you guys ... we're in the door ... we're going to try reading something that we know is going to scare us.  It's still light out and we're eating dinner that should help keep us one arm into reality.  So far ... so good ... nice intro hehehehe.  xoxoxoxo us!
