Quick Hits

Jason Kendall is not transitiong well to the AL. Not only is he last in OPS for catchers, he is last in throwing out runners. He has only thrown out 4 of 38 runners for an abysmal 10.5%.

Dodger fans are somewhat weak in the knees about Jason Phillips' offensive production, but he has only thrown out 2 of 24 baserunners.

Tino Martinez' Isolated Power (Slg-BA) is .371 right now, best i nthe AL. Adum Dunn leads the NL with .404.

Carl Pavano is leading the majors with 8.60 in Run Support, yet only has a 2-2 record over eight starts. Josh Beckett leads the NL with 7.77 RS, yet only has a 5-3 record despite a 2.40 ERA.

Jack Wilson, with his .482 OPS, has two intentional walks. Yeah, playing in a league in which the pitcher has to bat sure is great baseball. Let's put the number eight guy with his sub .500 OPS on base on purpose so we can get to the the pitcher, who hits even less.
