Nov. 19 Mon.  We are headed to Florida to see our new grandson.  Nathaniel Ian Davis was born Friday, a month earlier than he was expected.  He weighs 5 ponds and 11 ounces.  He is doing well except for his sucking instinct, and that is getting better all the time.  Leslie went home yesterday but the baby didn’t and it is very hard on her.  I can’t wait to see them both and reassure myself that all is well.

Our oldest granddaughter, Jerusha, called us to let us know that she is now engaged.  Ryan gave her a ring and they plan to marry in June.  We really like Ryan, so we are happy for them.  That is quite a spread, one grandchild is engaged, just as another one is born.

    That's even more of a spread than the age difference between Dianna and Leslie.  It doesn't seem real and probably won't until we are there and see that Leslie's OK and finally see Nathaniel this coming Saturday.

    Everyone has wished us a safe trip down, so let's do it!  ;-)
