:)

Dec. 3 Mon.  It is hard to believe that this is the last month of the year already.  We are trying not to feel smug when we get reports of snow and ice in Michigan, but they will have their turn when the temperatures are in the hundreds here this summer.  Alabama is a nice in-between though.  Florida was too hot when we were there.  Sweating and using air conditioning in November is too much heat for me.

What I did like about our trip was getting to meet our new grandson.  He is a doll and I miss him already.  I can still hear him and I can still smell his special baby fragrance.

It was good to see that Leslie was up and doing well after a difficult labor.  She can’t keep her eyes off that baby and just glows with love for him.  I will see if I can get a picture or two on here.

It's the Dreft detergent, I think :)  I noticed that anything I washed in that had "Nathaniel smell" to it :)  He's so cute I can't keep my eyes off him.  I was playing with his tootsies (pretending to eat them) when I was changing him and he was looking at me with this worried expression.  He's in his swing looking around right now - something about his expression when he lays in there is so pitiful I can't stop saying "Awwww."  On top of that, he has hiccups.  Awwwww!  But yes, it's almost midnight and he's wiiiiide awake.  *sigh*  I've created a night owl!

The sun is bright today, but there is a chill.  However, I'm still running around in shorts and a short sleeved polo, so it can't be that cold now, can it?  ;-)

Nathaniel is a beautiful baby, even though he is a boy.  I too miss his baby sounds - but not enough to have another one of our very own.
