Knit One, Pearl Two!

I want to thank everyone who wrote and inquired about the lack of posts this week. It was very sweet.   My husband was under the weather, but he never lacked in advice!

I met with the tree guy, ..we have a lot of damage from last winter's wet snow/ice storms. Then I met with the counter guy, we're revamping some stuff in the kitchen. Then I had a mini crew with a wood chipper to get rid of the waste from pines. We moved the wood pile to the summer location..(sounds fancy huh). I got our grandchild's bday gift off to CO, A very nice charm bracelet (she asked for it) and some Trixie Belden books. I loved Trixie as much as Nancy Drew, growing up. I wanted to read the ones I got for her, but I couldn't without breaking the binding. I'm almost tempted to get some of mine own <g>

Our weather has been very nice this week. I haven't had the chance to see what is coming up around the house. I've been all through the woods, but not checking out the gardens. We had a lot of rain today, and when it took a break I checked the status.

I love Bleeding Hearts. It's the one faithful spring plant that comes up for me. And here they are.

Rose bushes are starting in the other garden and we have buds on the wild cherry tree.
