The Hunt--Building a Strong Foundation

Yesterday we went to the art supply store preparing for working in an altered book mode. We found a table top easel replacing the floor easel disposed of after moving. Vellum and card stock papers, as well as several jars of acrylic paint, hopped into our shopping cart (or as they say here, "buggy"). After all that joyful browsing we went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch. We didn't know this restaurant was near us until about a month ago. It was one of my favorite haunts in Pennsylvania. I am euphoric.

Today: Pick up glass and finish framing. Straighten office. Do filing.

BEGIN PLAYING WITH IMAGES AND FONTS!

Go HUNTING at local Resale Shops

Pick a theme and develop it using found items, paint and paste. Suggestion: Take page from an old book and gesso it leaving a few words visible to define a theme. Create a poem using those words.

Hope you don't mind but I am using your journal as a sort of self help book, backtracking to read those entries I missed. Although I am drawing heavily from the inspiration I am not missing your creativity. I'm just not commenting on it just now. BTW I am Faye of cyandfayedavis also known as Magran.

Man does your journal motivate me! Today I'm choosing "Pick a theme" to make myself look at some areas of my house and CHOOSE. Also I am using "Do filing". to get myself moving in this office. THANK YOU !
