Thanks

Readers who leave comments make me happy.  Thank you...thank you! I wish more visitors to this journal would say "hi."

If I, in any way, motivate you to do better, to follow your heart, to be creative, to find your muse, to make art, means this journal is a success.

Yesterday I began a painting.  Acrylics are a new medium for me.  They dry quickly and I was able to put down an underpainting.  I am not happy with how the glazing technique is working, so today I may experiment with using oils and medium to glaze.  This is a montage so far.  (I had to look up montage and collage in the dictionary to be clear about what I am doing...lol!)  I love how work changes during the process.  I am tempted to post a picture of the underpainting...however, I haven't yet because it will change and it may change completely.  I never know what is going to happen.  Sometimes the process works and sometimes it doesn't.

I may take a pic and post it here for for the heck of it...knowing that it will change.

Today:  Load car with "stuff" for delivery to resale shops.  Type up labels for photographs and a notice on Care and Handling.  Frame 12" x 12" flower images and hang in house.  If time permits, take pics of things to sell on ebay...just start somewhere and jump in...one item at a time, then write description, etc.

Betty, thanks for sending the J-Land Lighthouse.  As you can see, I added it.

Finding somewhere and jumping in is my problem.  I am so indecisive.  I would enjoy seeing the evolution of your picture.  No matter that the underpainting may be completely gone....that would be even more interesting.
