Okay, I changed my mind. Here is the underpainting:

Actually, this shot may be helpful in deciding where I want to go with this painting. I can see the need for overlapping images. I will put the painting aside and begin working on it again later. It is a good idea to rest when you don't know what to do next. Better to stop than ruin.
Today: Look for props. Take a time out.

Went to a flea market (down the road) and got a brand new microwave (in black--my favorite appliance color) and an antique egg holder (given to the little old lady, who sold it to me, by a little old lady age 80). This antique egg holder will show up in a photograph soon.

I love how you get so excited about the simple things in life...like an egg holder! Excellent! I'm like that too...on most days. Stay excited...it's contagious.
