Estate Sale

Am debating going to an estate sale.  Writing helps me make decisions.  Q:  What do we need?  A:  Nothing.  Q:  Why go?  A:  For the fun of it.  Guess I will head out and see what they have in the garage.  Often there are props lurking in unexpected places.
 
Found a stone snake seal with characters carved on the bottom.  It sits in a stone stand (not pictured).  Am curious what the characters say.  Translation please.  Time to begin researching this item.
