Pitcher and Pot

Found a fabulous, old batter pitcher and a dovetailed pot at a local antique mall. This morning was a play with settings and setup time. The shadow images create balance and mood.

Purple irises call from the garden. Arranged in the pitcher, irises might make a dramatic difference. The impact of simplicity speaks volumes already--an example of "wabi-sabi."
