Feeling Chillin'
WorldCon..... Yes it begins. Because I'm working and will have lots of images to put up, I may do more than one entry each day.
The first is in the lobby of the convention center. The next image is the building we are staying in. The Third is the dealers room, the the guest of honor for this con.
Then the convention center, this is where this weekend will take place. It's on Boylston St. in Boston, big place. The next to the last image is from the opening ceremonies, the woman with the guest of honor is the conchair. Last image is the
exhibit room, I haven' made it to the art show yet, it maybe after the Chesley's before I can do the art show.
Opening ceremonies was nice. They didn't open the doors to the public until just before the time for the program to start. Then of course they waited to start the program till about 20 minutes later than it was suppose to start.
It was pretty simple a hand over of the gavell from last years world con, an introduction of the guest of honors, a film from NASA, and a fite and drum intro. That was it. I went to the dealers room afterwards then it was up to the room
to set up for my first photo sessions with people. Today only one person came up to photographed. I hope it gets busier. Tonight I might play, I need to play. I'm going to see if Marina wants to do dinner tonight. Since Mr. Locus is out with famous SF writers, we are on our own.
