Feeling Worried

A cab ride through Boston

Images from the cab ride to the book party.  I got out and walked one of the first mornings here and found the Boston Commons and walked it.  I didn't take the camera so no images from that walk.  But that and this cab ride are the only times I've been out of the hotel.
So during the cabride I just took photos of the buildings.  Boston is such an interesting city with such a contrast between old and new.  I have no clue what these buildings are, I just thought something was visually striking about them.  Number 6 is the aquarium where the book party was being held.  This publisher does some of the best parties at World Con.  They try to do them off site and with some flair.  I have to respect flair.
The inside of the aquarium was neat but we only got to see one section of it.  That was were they had the jellyfish exhibit.  So I have a couple of images of jellyfish.  They were cool, how they move through the water and are luminated.  I've seen at least 2 other jellyfish exhibits something like this and they are always interesting.  I'll but images up from the party later.  When we left it was dark but I found on the outside they had a seal viewing area, it was neat.  If I'd seen it when we came in, I'd have done images of the seals.  They are such neat creatures.  So cute and so graceful in the water, they seem to be one of the only creatures that being overweight is good for.
More later.
