Feeling Flirtatious
Walked this morning and saw 2 deer total. One was a fawn all by it's self, it still had spots and was not very big. From my walks in that woods this is the smallest fawn I've ever seen alone. I know that most of the young deer I see with there mothers till they are almost the same size as their mothers.
So this little guy worried me. She was eating grass, so she was off the milk, but still so little with big ears and alone. I stood and watched her for awhile but then had to walk on. I walked the Gainer Ridge this morning that's where I saw this little fellow. I stood an watched her for at least 15 minutes and mom never showed up.
I could have told one of the rangers but for all I knew I was scaring mom off and soon as I left she may have shown up. I feel for the small and helpless, when it's alone. It would have made a good meal for a coyote, that's the only predator I think big enough to bring down the fawn. Coyotes do exsist in the park, I've seen one once.
The images up today are from the Untitled show this past Friday. It was a very hip and happening place. I did the sneaky camera bit. I tried to catch the people unaware of the camera. That means basically shooting from the hip. Well image #3 is shooting from the lap. I had the camera in my lap, since I was seated that was easy. These young boys weren't looking for an older woman to talk to. So they ignored me completely. Good photo subjects.
You seem some of the art that hung in the back ground of the photos. I enjoyed watching the kids, trying to be so hip. There were two young men who both had blond hair in the long style. I didn't get a photo of them were you can tell what they look like, but they were interesting visually. There were also a couple of other young men who were very thin and had tatoos on their arms. Those young men hung out with the young women, who were dress in there finery.
It was great place to people watch. I'm not much of a party person. I tend to be a wall flower, so I use that to do sneaky images. It gives me something to do at the party.
Yesterday I found on line Bob's Redmill, they do different types of flour than wheat. They also have these recipes for different things without wheat. I found a pizza dough recipe, that I'm going to try out. I had to order some of the stuff from them but it wasn't that much. So I can try to make a wheat free pizza. I like pizza and it will be something I will miss if I cut wheat out of my diet. So if I can figure out how to make a good crust, I can do it myself. So we'll see. Tonight is my
class, where I'm learning photoshop. We are suppose to bring stuff to scan. So I've got my stuff together and I'm still trying to find out stuff.
