Vision, Passion, Purpose
Near the end of August, I wrote an entry that explained the missing ingredient in my heart those few weeks just before school started.
I don't know why it was missing, except that I had started feeling tired by the time August came around, and wasn't ready to go back to school.
Rather than talk too much about it, for I wanted this entry to be as brief as possible, I am here to tell you about a profound video production I just saw yesterday afternoon during a staff meeting at my school. I choked back the tears, for the timing of it is everything.
It is brief, but the music and words are powerfully moving.
You won't be disappointed if you take this link and listen to it and watch it for yourself.
It's about three minutes long.
Turn up your volume, and click on big screen for the full video... you won't be disappointed I promise.
Then come back and tell me what you thought about it.

Very inspiring. I was just talking to my husband the other day about passion ... how it just irks me that there are people who are walking around with any sort of passion in their life. People who don't get excited about ANYTHING. (And I don't mean depression ... 'cause I live with it but I am STILL passionate) Be passionate about something ... those who can't find anything to be passionate about annoy me. LOL I don't know, it's hard to explain. I don't care if you are passionate about paper ... at least you are passionate.
Did this make ANY sense at all?! LOL

Unfortunately my speakers aren't working. I'll be back to check it out as soon as I can grab one of the kid's headphones. I'm so glad alerts are working again!!

Ironic that the day after I had this conversation with my 18 year old son, I would stumble upon this link. I was never encouraged to have passion or purpose in my life. I told my son without purpose in life you live day to day with no goals. What a waste of life to never vission your tomorrow. Difficult realization to learn at 53.

I watched the video. LOVED IT! It can fit into any & all aspects of our lives!!!
Think it explains why I'm having such a hard time losing weight this time, I have the vision, the purpose, but NOT the passion!
Need to examine my life more. TY! :)
