Romance Writers, Start Your Engines!
Yesterday Avon Books announced Avon Fan Lit, a "first-of-its-kind" interactive online community designed to bring romance writers, readers and, well, fans together in an entirely new way.
During the eight-week "online venture," as they're calling it, avonfanlit.com will have sections where participants can submit, rate and discuss fan-writtenchapters, receive mentoring tips and win a variety of prizes. "Best of all," reads the release, "the finished product will be published by Avon as an origianl e-book."
Got to www.avonfanlit.com to learn more, but know that to enter, you've got to lon on between August 23 and September 6. I'll be interviewing weekly winners, so if you enter, you might "win" a chance to talk to me, too.
