Why did Brad Meltzer get interviewed by Former First Lady Barbara Bush?

Well, Meltzer emailed the skinny to me yesterday (the man is a true mensch). It's because former President Bush (and former President Clinton) helped with the
research of The Book of Fate.  Former President Bush wrote Brad Meltzer a fan letter about his novel The Millionaires -- Meltzer sent a book -- and asked if he could come see what the former President's life was like.  So 'The Book of Fate' is a fictional thriller with details based on fact about the Presidents' offices and life after the White House.
