AOL's Book Maven

Thank goodness it was someone like Jay Parini writing this piece, or I might have had to gnaw off my own left thumbnail in envy. Not only does he get to write an article about "Other People's Books," a topic that never fails to get me going; he's met the novelist Anthony Powell ('A Dance to the Music of Time' for you Philistines... JOKING) and been to his personal library!

OK, enough of my geeky bibliophilia. But: do you look at other people's books? What's the most interesting/unlikely/outrageous thing you have found in so doing?
