Humorous Corollary to Yesterday's Entry
I'm late posting this New Yorker "Shouts & Murmurs" by Ian Frazier, but that's only because I've been too busy alternately laughing uproariously (love Ian Frazier) at the satire and sighing loudly at the fact that book-buying can be satirized this way in our society.
My message for today: go out and buy one new book! I will, and here's what it will be: 'The View from Castle Rock: Stories' by Alice Munro (that's a link to a story from the book in The New Yorker).
What will your book buy be?

as I am one of those horrible mothers that make my child read the book before seeing the movie, I had planned on purchasing Eragon for my 11 year old... will do so today! ( might find room for a cookbook too....)

DASHED DREAMS by Susan Worley-Bean.
The book is great, her characters are believable, tender, has faults and makes you fall in love all over again!
I first saw this book at a book signing in Lake Tahoe, NV. I believe she is having a book signing at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport on Weds, November 22.
It's on Amazon.
