Scrooge's Christmas

It's fuzzy but I had to take it quick! Here was TheTeen's 5 lines in the play, above. She was so pretty in her makeup and costume. And she did a great job. She is young Scrooge's sister.
A shot at the end, when the play was over and everyone back on stage.

And another shot....Her character name as Scrooge's sister was "Fannie", which she said they all teased her about that.

And the stage bow. I can't believe I got it to take at the right moment! She is in the lightest colored costume below...I had to crop the big heads out of people sitting in front of us...LOL

Here is a pic with Mr.FriendlyGuy in it (her boyfriend) who was Young Scrooge. He is the next to the last one on the right with the BIG sideburns.

This girl that played the Ghost of Marley (Scrooge's dead partner) did an excellent job. I had to get a pic. They had it set up that when she talked into her microphone it changed her voice into a deep garbled ghostly voice. It was excellent. Their special effects was awesome. This was a very professionally done play with the band in the back mezzanine doing much of the music and special effects. They didn't have a lot of the lighting they needed but did an excellent job with staging, costumes, and the acting was brilliant. These were some talented kids. I cannot see how they remembered all their lines. The girl that did the ghost of Marley was great. She is in the "chains" below. And her costume was great. She always appeared in kindof a green light. Oh and Mr. Friendly Guy is in this one too on her right.

And here is Scrooge himself. This guy was fantastic. I don't see how he remembered his lines either. LOL

TheTeen and Mr. FriendlyGuy having fun after the play. Mr.FriendlyGuy had taken his sideburns off but he had a hard time getting it off, as you still see the residue in the pictures. He told us later he accidently ripped off some of is own sideburns and had told us he said to himself "ow, no wonder that hurt"....LOL

And a close up. Perfect if not for the residual sideburns there. LOL

And of course the real picture before I did the cropping. What else are Dad's for but to irritate their daughter's and their boyfriends?

Oh, and Mr. FriendlyGuy got his school letterman jacket....and TheTeen got to try it on.

Just a goofy shot of the gang after the play. The drama coach is sitting down below. He seemed very nice. We were all laughing about my emails to him trying to get the schedule a couple of weeks back. <Hubby brought it up b/c when we said we were TheTeen's Mom, we knew he was thinking "oh the lady that demanded a written schedule of play practice">. Well, we finally got one didn't we? LOL One of the guys is playing with a Barbie laptop and I had to snatch a pic. LOL

It was a great night. We went to Steak and Shake with Mr. Friendly Guy and his Mom as the kids werestarving. So we got home last night after 10:00. I'm really not sure what time it was. We slept until about 8:00 this morning.
She has to be there again today at 1:00 for her turn with hair and make up. And so I'm taking her. Then Hubby is picking her up tonight afterwards since I'll be in my PJ's. LOL
Well, this morning we are having biscuits and gravy once TheTeen wakes up and I need to wash sheets from everyone's bed and also comforters since they have not been washed in a while. I'm glad to have another day at home since I've not been home much during the week.
Everyone have a great weekend.
